The Brunts Academy hosted 30 Year 6 pupils, who will be joining in September, for a fun day of 'Getting To Know Brunts' on Thursday 1st June The day saw the pupils carousel around three different workshops: Orienteering - which enabled them to familiarise themselves with our 40 acre site! Computer Science - which saw them access three different activities - Coding, Programming using BigTrax, and then they travelled to the Moon and delivered a news story! Art - which saw them learn all about Pop Art and produce their own Pop Art poster! The day was a fantastic success and despite a few first morning nerves, everyone ended the day with a huge smile with lots of budding friendships formed too! A huge thank you to the staff involved with organising and delivering these workshops.
